Come build and develop technology solutions as part of the Kilatia Group. Kilatia Technologies Oy is looking for a developer to strengthen its technology team. We're seeking someone with at least two years of experience in software development and a readiness to take ownership of their work. In this role you'll work as part of the Kilatia Group and contribute hands-on to developing our technology solutions. You'll work in a TypeScript-based stack (React, Tailwind, Bun, Hono, PostgreSQL, Prisma), and AI-assisted development, such as Claude Code, is part of our daily work.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and develop software solutions
- Solve technical problems and drive development tasks forward independently
- Work in close collaboration with the rest of the organization
- Influence practical implementations and how technology is used across the Kilatia Group
- Build new modules for our platform, from the UI down to the database — both frontend and backend work
- Work with AI agents: plan the implementation, direct the agent, and critically review the result
What we expect from you
- At least two years of hands-on experience in coding or software development
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of agreed-upon deliverables
- Problem-solving skills, initiative, and a drive to get things done
- Good collaboration and communication skills
- A willingness to learn and continuously develop your skills
- A solid grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with web application development
- A basic understanding of relational databases, SQL, and version control (Git)
- Experience with AI-assisted development and the ability to critically judge when an agent's suggestion isn't good enough — we don't ship production code that its author can't explain
